Just before half term, we learnt about Space at pre-school.
Our role play area was a spaceship and we read the stories Alien's Love Underpants and Whatever Next. We did bubble painting planets and made our own rockets.

Our Moon Sand space station
We watched a clip of the first man to walk on the moon and we tried to imagine what it must be like to walk in space. We also made moon cakes from rice crispies and marshmallows. We stirred the mixture, measured the ingredients and used circle cutters to make the shape of the full moon.
